Prepare Now for End of Support

Created by Karen Pearl Enrique, Modified on Mon, 19 Jun, 2023 at 3:04 PM by Karen Pearl Enrique

This article lists the prospective dates we’re planning to end support for versions of the following operating systems:

  • Windows
  • Mac
  • Linux

When we end support for a system, you’ll see the following changes:

  • JumpCloud will no longer test agent compatibility on unsupported systems, and the agent may or may not still work for a period of time.
  • The agent may not be able to manage existing deployments on unsupported systems, but JumpCloud won’t actively prevent agent installs or upgrades on unsupported systems.
  • If you experience issues running the agent on unsupported systems, we’ll recommend that you update to a supported system before troubleshooting issues.

For example, Windows 10 Professional version 21H2 is currently supported (as of this writing in August 2022), but will likely need to be upgraded to a later version to retain support through the published date.
***Microsoft has not yet defined an End of Service date.
