How to install Zoom Desktop Client application

A simple guide to install Zoom Desktop application to laptops running macOS or Windows OS.


Zoom Desktop Client Installation


  1. Open Safari browser for macOS, or Microsoft Edge for Windows. 

  2. Go to https://zoom.us/download then click Download button. For macOS, go to the link just below the Download button.

  3. A pop-up window will appear asking confirmation to download from the site, click Allow.

  4. Wait for the download to complete then go to Downloads folder.

  5. Double click zoomusInstallerFull.pkg file. Follow the installation steps, key in password when prompted.

  6. A window will appear confirming successful installation, click Close.

  7. For macOS, go to Applications folder then launch Zoom. For Windows, go to Start, search for Zoom then launch the application.
