How to install Slack application

A simple guide to install Slack application to laptops running macOS or Windows OS.

Slack Installation

1. Open Safari browser for macOS, or Microsoft Edge for Windows. 

2. Go to https://slack.com/downloads/ then click Download button.

3. A pop-up window will appear asking confirmation to download from the site, click Allow.

4. Wait for the download to complete then go to Downloads folder.

5. Double click slack[version, os].dmg file. For macOS, drag the Slack icon to the Applications folder.

6. For macOS, go to Applications folder then launch Slack application. For Windows, go to Start, search for Slack then launch the application.
