Understanding Asset Management Screen on Esevel Platform

The Asset section allows managers to manage their inventory by providing an overview of the status of their assets across the countries. Types of assets that can be tracked include laptops, desktops, MacBooks and IT peripherals.

A. Assets Statuses 

  • Active Assets: Total number of active assets.
  • In Warehouse: Total number of assets in storage (both at Esevel’s facilities or company’s own facilities).
  • Disposed: Total number of disposed assets.
  • Processing: Total number of assets being processed for a certain action (including redeployment, retrieval, etc.)
  • Archived: Total number of assets indicated by company as archived (meaning not in use).
  • Peripherals: Total number of peripherals (keyboards, mice, headset etc) that the company may wish to track.


B. Add the Assets 

  • From here, you can add an asset individually or upload them in bulk.
  • You can also export the asset list.


C. Asset’s Search Engine

Search the assets across locations by: 

  • Model: (example: Macbook Pro 13” M2 2022) 
  • Owner: (example: Roxanne Rich)
  • Country: Singapore, Malaysia, etc. 
  • Status: Active, Disposed, etc. 
  • Type: Laptops, Macbooks, etc.


D. Device List

Asset list table: This tells you the details of your device include:

  • Serial Number: This should be a unique identifier for each device. 
  • Name: This is the name of the device.
  • Type: Includes Macbooks, Laptops/Notebooks, Desktops
  • Model: This is the model of the device.
  • Warranty Status: Includes Expired, Valid, etc.
  • EOL Status: End of Life status tells you if the asset still has any value based on your defined EOL.
  • Status: Tells the status of the assets including Active, Processing, Disposed, etc.
  • Current Holder: The current employee who owns the device.
  • Bird Eye icon: Allows you to view the details of the device including current holder, previous holder, etc.
  • Edit icon: Allows you to edit the details of the device include.
  • Actions: Allows to take an action on respective device such as redeployment, storage, disposal, etc.
  • Store: Request to store a device at Esevel’s facility or Company’s facility.
  • Redeploy: Request to redeploy a device to a new employee / joiner.
  • Dispose: Request to dispose a device with or without a certified data wipe.
  • Archive: Archive a device (eg. when it is no longer in use and to be kept at the warehouse. No physical redeployment required).
  • Change Ownership: Change owners of an asset to a different employee (without physical redeployment).
  • Generate Depreciation Report: Generate the report that provides an overview of the assets and their corresponding depreciation expense and net book value.




E. Other Peripherals List and Action for Other Peripherals 

Other peripherals list table: This tells you the details of your assets include:

  • Serial Number: This should be a unique identifier for each asset. 
  • Name: This is the name of the asset.
  • Type: Includes Monitor Screens, Headsets, Connectors
  • Model: Model of the asset.
  • Current Holder: The current employee who owns the asset.
  • Eye icon: Allows you to view the details of the assets including current holder, previous holder, etc.
  • Edit icon: Allows you to edit the details of the assets.
  • Actions: Allows to take an action on respective assets such as report hardware issue, request for a redeployment, etc. These are the actions : 
  • Change Ownership: Change owners of an asset to a different employee (without physical redeployment).
  • Delete: Remove an asset from your managed asset list.
